Jodi Monroe leads Home Trust of Skagit, a thriving community land trust focused on helping families realize their dream of owning a home. She says, “shelter is a basic need and one that she’s passionate about.” Jodi along with the Board of Directors completed its first signature affordable neighborhood in Mount Vernon with the financial backing of the City of Mount Vernon and Skagit County, plus partnered with Habitat for Humanity.
Jodi’s forte is marshaling people and resources and navigating politics! She says, “we can do anything with the support of government, businesses both small and large, and fans!”
Jodi is a native Skagitonian and former television journalist. She’s served in an executive director capacity for several organizations, including the Washington State FFA, Skagit County EMS Commission, and the North Region EMS and Trauma Care Council. Jodi is most joyful about supporting her three kids through college and law school.
